Wedding Dog Chaperone Services

Here at Happy Pawz Pet Care Services we offer a fully tailor-made service, that enables you to have your furry friend with you at your wedding. Together we will build the perfect package for you. We want you to be able to relax and enjoy your special day knowing that your dog will be well cared for, pampered, exercised, and safely transported by a professional and experienced chaperone service.

What we can offer:
  • A consultation meeting with your dog(s) at our home to discuss you and your dog’s needs.
  • A walk before the wedding.
  • Transport to and from the venue if required. We can arrive 30 minutes before the wedding so that your dog can greet your guests.
  • Chaperone your dog so they can carry out their wedding duties.
    Supervise and attend to your dog’s comfort needs.
  • Co-ordinate with your photographer.
  • Attend to your dog’s comfort needs throughout the day.
  • Our packages are fully customisable, so please just ask and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

We have 3 Dog Wedding packages available:

Standard | Premier | Platinum

Standard

Prices start from £200 and include the following:

Meet & Greet with you and your dog to discuss and agree requirements.
Up to 3 hours handling and caring for your dog at location shoot, our home or anywhere else in the local area (including fresh water, treats, toilet breaks).
Working with your photographer if required to capture the best photos.
Bag of treats and toy for your good boy/girl.
Includes transport within Dumfries travel time.

The service includes pick-up and drop-off, transport (Dumfries area only), walk and comfort breaks. Other packages include either overnight boarding in our fully licensed home or at another location which can be arranged.

We offer a free consultation meeting to discuss the plans for your big day.

Final price will be given once we’ve done an assessment based on the service needs, and this will be emailed/messaged to you after the consultation. The meeting is completely at our expense and is there is no pressure on the day of the consultation to book.

A 30% non refundable deposit would be required to secure your booking.

Premier

Premier Package - starts from £250

Supervision on your wedding day for up to 4 hours at the venue inclusive of travel time.

This can include the following;

Additional walk whilst you enjoy your wedding breakfast.

Overnight stay with your pet in your own home or venue*

Overnight boarding in our fully licensed home for one night.

Morning walk & other duties as required (feed/water)

*Room must be provided if staying overnight. Alternatively if you have a friend or family member willing to look after them or overnight care has been arranged, we can drop them off an agreed location if required.

This package is for your dog(s) to be present for a meet and greet, photographs, and/or to walk down the aisle with you.

The package is fully customisable, so please just ask and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
The service includes pick-up/drop-off, transport and a walk/comfort needs to be taken care of (any further additional charges will apply). If overnight care is required then we are able to offer this either within your home, another location of your choice, or overnight boarding in our home for one night.
Alternatively if you have a friend or family member willing to look after them or overnight care has been arranged, we can drop them off an agreed location if required.

Platinum

Platinum Package - starts from £350

This is the same as the Premier Package but with overnight boarding in our fully licensed home for the night before and your wedding night.

Includes up to 42 hours of 1-2-1 care

Typically arriving at 6pm the night before your wedding until 11am the day after your wedding, this platinum package offers care for your dog throughout for those couples who are enjoying a two day wedding. All care is provided for plus transportation to and from the venue keeping your beloved pooch in their routine as much as possible, whilst still allowing them to be a part of your special day.

Additional Add-On’s

Additional dog – £50
Overnight care at client’s home or another location – £60

Travel 20 miles outwith Dumfries – TBC depending on location.
